Born out of the Cape Town drought, the #GroPro system is extremely water-efficient.
With 25 pockets and planting space on top, the GroPro utilizes anywhere between 3-5 liters of water for 28 plants per watering.
This is extremely difficult to beat.
Green Thumbs Are Grown Not Born
The GroPro Cycle
Place scraps from the kitchen into the inner cylinder to keep your red wriggler worms fed. Worm castings/worm excrement will slowly build up there and is extremely nutrient rich.
Each time you water, these nutrients will escape with the water and leave via the drainage holes at the base of your #GroPro.
Collect and reuse and watch your plants flourish!
A Vertical Option
A Proudly South African Space-Saver
While the system has many important qualities, water efficiency being one of them, the vertical nature of the GroPro allows a herb garden into urban spaces which couldn't cater for a traditional one.
Vermiculture & Organic Growth
By utilizing the power of red wriggler farming worms the GroPro adds self-fertilizing to it's list of vital qualities. The worms help speed up the breakdown of the organic waste which you place down the worm cylinder into valuable nutrients while adding some of their own.
This removes the need for chemical fertilizes and allows you to grow organically.
